What we collect, and why.
What we collect. When you use the contact form, we get what you type: your name, company, email, phone if you give it, your role, the project city, the service you need, whether you have plans yet, the approximate square footage, the project type, what matters most to you on the project, a link to your plans if you paste one, and your message. If you email us, we get your email address and whatever you send. Plans usually show the project address and often the owner's name.
What we use it for. We use it to reply, quote the work, follow up on the quote, and, if you hire us, do the work. If we've talked about a project, we may check in by email now and then about future work. Say the word and we'll stop. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who else sees it. Only the companies that run things for us, and only to do that job. Cloudflare hosts this site, Formspree delivers the form to our inbox, Google runs our email and file storage, and we use engineering and office software, including AI tools, to do the work. If we take your project, your plans and project details go where the work needs them, such as the building department and the rest of your project team. We'll also share information when the law requires it.
Cookies, tracking, and logs. Our site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, ads, or tracking scripts. Cloudflare may set a security cookie to screen out bots. It isn't used to track you. Like any website, Cloudflare and Formspree keep standard technical logs (your IP address, browser type, and the page you asked for) to run their service and block spam and attacks.
Do Not Track. We don't track you across other websites, and we don't let other companies do it through our site. The site works the same whether or not your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal.
Seeing, fixing, or deleting your information. Email plans@strome-eng.com and tell us what you'd like to see, correct, or delete. We'll reply by email and delete what you ask, except records of work we've done on your project, which we keep.
Changes. If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date. We won't use information you've already sent us in a new way without asking you first.
